Current Goal

To educate people about becoming an Organ and Tissue Donor. I'd like this travel bug to to travel all around the World and get people to sign donor cards and most importantly to have people tell their family members that they would like to become an organ donor, so they can help save the lives of others.

This travel bug's owner is waiting for a liver transplant. Did you know that over 90,000 Americans are waiting for life-saving organ transplants? You can become an organ donor in three steps:
1. Say "yes" to donation on your driver's license. 2. Sign and carry a donor card. 3. Express your wishes to your family. The most important thing you can do is to discuss organ donation with your family because if you don't have a signed organ donor card, the decision of your organ and tissue donation will be made by your legal next-of-kin at the time of death. Is there an age limit for donation? No. Potential donors are evaluated on an individual basis regardless of age. I 😎 am registered as an organ donor, my family members and I donate blood regularly, and I am spearheading a directed blood drive on a college campus for a recent college grad. I 😎 am honored to escort this one around, as it allows me to encourage others to participate in life-saving volunteer work.
