Staying within North America and having my picture taken with anything to do with the sport of Rock Crawling. Pictures of rigs, tires, lifts, events and even your 4x4. Send in your pictures. I would also like to see if I could make it to Logan Utah to actually have my picture taken with Nate Williams and his 75 Bronco.
Two of my favorite things: Off Roading while Geocaching.
One of the great pastimes for me and my firends when we were teens was to take our trucks out to Three Peeks and go rock crawling. Three Peeks was not as good as Moab (we made it a habit of going to Moab as well) but they did hold a Crawling compition every year (and still do). One sepific year I was there I had the opportunity to meet and see all the greats compete, including "the Legend Walker Evens. Listed among these was a driver that had a Orange Bronco. I never got his name, but I swore that his Ford Bronco was the coolest crawling rig I had ever seen. This was only confirmed when I saw him compete. That year I had my video camera with me and was able to record him on many of the cources. It wasnt until a few years ago (and a lot of google searching) that I was able to find out who owned this Bronco. The only things that I had to go off of was the color, the make, the model, and two decals on the side: Rock Slide Engineering and Mt. Logan Off-Road.
This Travel Bug is dedicated to Nate Williams of Logan, Utah, and his '75 Ford Bronco. In hopes of some day meeting him and getting a closer look at his '75 Bronco, being able to share our Rock Crawling Adventures and maybe go crawlin' together.
