Goal: Travel from cache to cache in search of BRAAAAINS. Visit Geocaching events. Spread the plague. Please take photos!
Meet Tilly, a zombie who has become patient number 62 in our study of the propagation of the zombie plague via geocaching. Tilly was a freelance mortician who had more than a passing interest in tattoos. She was always fascinated when she encountered a tattoo on one of her clients, and often wondered about the story behind it. Tilly aspired to be a tattoo artist one day, if only she could overcome her horrific fear of needles. She had no tattoos of her own.
We believe that Tilly contracted the zombie plague from Patient # 5 - Emma. Emma had three tattoos, one of which was a travel bug tattoo. This was the second travel bug tattoo that Tilly had encountered, and the first was what led her start caching. We now know that Tilly was hired as the mortician for Emma's wake, which never happened because she rose from the dead. We are nearly certain that this is the direct link between these two cachers.
This travel bug is part of a larger study to take a closer look at how the zombie plague might propagate if the primary vector for spreading the disease was geocaching. Please visit the following website for further details, and a visualization of how the disease has propagated thus far based on the movement and discovery of this and other infected Zombie travel bugs:
