About This Item

Looking for Adventure!

Our oldest grand-daughter loved the Where's Waldo puzzles & books when she was little.  We spent many fun hours searching for Waldo with her.  So... when we started geocaching we chose 'Find Waldo' for our geocaching name because now we are always looking for geocaches!

Starting off our extra day to geocache in 2020 by attending the Event at Viva! Ordered a breakfast burrito, A favorite breakfast of Hot Air Balloonists. It turned out to be a well attended event and the first event for one of the kids in Team Erds&Kids. We visited with some new to us geocachers, a good geocaching friend and had a nice chat with KennyV. Always good to share tales of our geocaching trails. Thanks for the opportunity to earn the Leap Day Souvenir and get us out and about early today! Now off to get some ~FTF~ caches before we start our busy caching day!

Our mission for today was to find a couple more of the de Anza trail caches. We are familiar with the Juan Bautista de Anza route from Mexico to San Francisco. We have visited many of the Missions built during this time period. It’s nice to see that the route has been turned into a National Historic Trail with markers. Even nicer to see that it has been made into a Geocaching Trail.
After a short search we found the cache container. Signed the log and replaced it as found. Thank You for adding to our geocaching adventures!

Spending some time in Nevada's Alien Territory near Area 51 with sixeasy. The Little A'Le' Inn's RV Park (5 spots) will be our base camp for the next few days. Had the world famous Alien Burger with a piece of Alien Fruit pie for dinner, then took the quads out to find a few geocaches around town.

Out on a High Desert adventure today with sixeasy. Found a few around USA Pkwy then headed south to Yerington/Smith Valley. This is where the day got interesting as we picked a FS road that proved a little more challenging than we were expecting. Lots of bumps, bangs and a wash crossing later we arrived at GZ. Odd to see these three volcanic rocks all lined up here alone. Thanks for bringing us out to this amazing area and for your Earthcaches!

Nice day for geocaching so we came down to Wellington with Mr. Sixeasy to get out of the hustle and bustle of Reno. This is a beautiful little valley. Some of the caches were hard to find because they had been pushed under the dirt or past the fence line. They are back in place now and easier to spot. Thanks for the lonely little geo-trail!

Welcome to the Jungle, we're looking for fun and games
We got everything we need, we know the names
We are the people that can find whatever we look for
If you got the money honey we need to go find more

Welcome to the Jungle, we take it day by day
Going for the Ape Cache is all we need to say
The weather is real damp and the air is so breezy
The road is kinda long, but the trail is very easy

Welcome to the Jungle it gets worse here every day
We found our new friend and he took us on our way
Watch the mud and rain bring us to our knnn knees
The rain forest is soaked and dripping from the trees

Welcome to the Jungle it's not for the meek
We kept on going and found what we seek
The Southern Bowl is now off our bucket list
Our mission is complete, glad we took the risk!
