This bug’s mission is to explore the regions of Australia, see some sites, and try out the local food and drink. We plan to investigate each location it visits and learn about whatever it is doing. Please take lots of photos and let us know where you are.
We were looking for a fun and different way for our kids to learn about the world and thought that setting a trackable bug loose for each of our kids would be a great way to do it. A friend of ours is currently working a locum position in Australia. While home for a short visit he agreed to take them back to Australia and release them. We are doing this in conjunction with two kids from Australia that are about the same age as our kids with the hopes they will become pen pals. The trackables and all their adventures should be a great conversation starter. Thank you to everyone that helps them on their way and Happy Geocacheing!!
