OK. Well… Unfortunately, I have come to terms with the fact that it is about time for me to write this log…
Please accept my apologies. But, as you might have guessed, by the fact that your Farmtagz trackable, “Farfels Retriever Puppy”, has not moved out of my possession for the past three years… I now definitively believe that I have lost it. 👎
I must have done so shortly after I picked it up all those months ago. I was still holding out hope that it would turn up. I called a few restaurants I had been to, checked old jacket pockets, checked my car (several times), etc… My best hope was that it would turn up when I did eventually trade in my old car. Since I knew I would need to do a thorough cleaning before the trade-in – I was hoping it would avail itself then. But, sadly, after I swapped the car this past Fall, I did not find it. So, I made a New Year’s resolution to throw in the towel – and admit my mistake.
I actually appear to have lost this at the same time as another trackable. To date, I have helped move along nearly 600 trackables during my nearly 6 years of geocaching – and these are the only two I have misplaced. I know it may offer you little comfort, but please know I am sorry – and will continue to try to be more responsible with regard to transporting trackables.
