Goal: Reach the Captain Cook/Kona area of Hawaii by December 2013.
My family has spent every Christmas together for the past 23 years until last year. My brother, Michael, a Lieutenant Colonel in the Army, could not join us as he was serving a year-long tour of duty in Afghanistan. We missed him greatly but are very happy to report that he returned home safely in February 2013. To “make up” for last Christmas without him, we are all planning to spend the holidays in Hawaii where my son is attending pharmacy school. We would appreciate it if anyone picking up this travel bug would help get it to the Captain Cook/Kona area of Hawaii. We hope that it will reach its destination before Christmas 2013 so we can rediscover it as a family. Thanks for your help in making the goal of this travel bug come true!
