This trackable was released into the wild on 6/23/13 at cache GC297AX (Puzzle Swap) on I-75 south bound in Michigan. This was Apollo's 10th birthday, and we were returning from Dog Scout Camp in St. Helen, Michigan. Please help this trackable travel far and wide.
This is one of six Cache Buddies trackable tags I purchased for my dog to place when he comes caching with me. He is a Chocolate Labrador Retriever named Apollo. We are active in Dog Scouts of America. One of the goals of the organization is for dogs to learn obedience through positive training methods, including through activities the owner and dog do together in which the dog learns new behaviors and commands. We are working on Apollo's "Geocaching Level 1" badge, which will require us to find five caches and place one cache. Apollo must wear his backpack on caching hikes, which must contain supplies to clean up and carry out any waste as well as emergency items and his own swag to trade.
