If all goes well Alberta will be given to a cacher at the upcoming Saturday at the park II Geocaching event. We'd like to see Alberta go all over. Possibly overseas, or to Canada. I will refine the mission as time goes on, but one thing is for sure please post pics. Our team wants to see all the cool places alberta will go. She'd love to meet other Star Trek & SciFi fans.
Ensign Alberta the Moose tag is an honorary member our Starfleet chapter the USS Ares. We are sending the Ensign out into the world to honor my first geocaching bag. It is an insanly cool courier bag that belonged to a very special member of our team who is no longer with us. I remember the day very well she saw this bag with it's cool pattern. As you'll see in the picture I posted of the bag it has trees a bear and moose on it, and on the right hand side of the bag you have the back end of a moose. She Yelled OMG it's Moose Butt! It was then and forever refered to as The Moose Butt Bag. I have proudly used this as one of my geocaching bags ever since. So Alberta now goes out into the world to have adventures in honor of this bag and the very special person who named it armed with a compass/thermometer to help geocachers find their way.
