To compete in the Rare Pediatric Cancer and Histiocytosis Awareness Race. I need to log as many miles as possible so I can win the race!!

From May 1 to Oct. 1, 2012 I am racing in the South Carolina/Georgia Rare Pediatric Cancer and Histiocytosis Awareness Race.

Please help me earn extra points!
1) Take me to Cache events!  
2) Discover me!  Show me to your caching friends!
3) Drop me in a cache: I get extra points for every cache that I am dropped in.
4) Take a photo of me with Cancer Warriors and Doctors! Superb!
5) Log links for TV/radio/web/newspapers interviews showing or talking about me
6) After Oct/2012 I will continue to raise awareness about Rare Pediatric Cancer!

Keep me moving from cache to cache!  Miles matter!

Additional BONUS mileage will be awarded for the following events:

1.    200 miles for each cache that the TB is physically dropped into (not “visited” or “dipped”).  A new cacher must pick up and carry the bug to the next cache.

2.    100 miles for “discovery” by persons other than bug holder

3.    100 miles for uploaded photo included in log. (one per logged cache).

4.    100 miles for attending an event (meeting, gathering or CITO event.)

5.    500 miles for attending a MEGA event.

6.    200 subjective bonus miles for creativity of log or photo posted.

7.    500 bonus miles if this Histio Duck is featured in a television report or newspaper article about pediatric cancer/histiocytosis awareness. (must post link in your log)

"Duck"tor Jett  is joining the race to help raise awareness for a very rare disease that we never even heard of until we decided to join the race.  The blue ribbon on our duck's chest represents Histiocytosis. Histiocytosis is a rare cancer like disease that affects 5 in 1 million people (mostly children) per year.  It is usually treated with chemotherapy.  Please help us spread the word by keeping this duck moving. 

The name "Duck"tor Jett also represents 1/4 of the JettClan who is almost complete with her Doctorate Degree in Education.   The name came about because with any disease it takes education and many Doctors.  This is a culmination of all this.
