On 20 October 2012, my baby sister married the man of her dreams during a beautiful, fairytale wedding ceremony held at Bon Cap near Robertson in the Breede River Valley.
She chose me to be her Chief Bridesmaid, a dubious honour as this position also included the arranging of her bachelorette, calming of several tantrums, crisis management and walking full into a door corner, mere minutes before having to chauffeur the bride dressed in gum boots over puddles of mud and off to her rain-washed wedding ceremony...
CHIEF BRIDESMAID - not a position for the faint-hearted!
