Travel from the Pacific Coast to the Atlantic Coast and return to Sierra Vista, Arizona.

About This Item

This travel bug was launched by the students of Mrs. Thrasher's 6th grade class at Coronado Elementary School.  We are hoping finders will keep the travel bug moving on its quest of traveling from the Pacific Coast to the Atlantic Coast and then return to its home in Sierra Vista, Arizona.  We also ask that the finders answer these questions when they log the movement of this bug:

1.  What is the state capital where you found the bug?
2.  What is one good reason for visiting that state?
3.  What is a dominant geographic feature near where the bug was found?

  • San Diego Harbor - Shelter Island Kellybug dropped in a cache on shelter island in San Diego Harbor. This island was first a mudbank, then when the harbor was dredged, it was built up to a point 21 feet above high tide. Now it is a lush area with resorts, bike paths, & boat docks.
