The FJ Dawgmobile took us up the scary road all the way to the Crestline turnoff. Suki's dad didn't like the cliffy road so we turned around and went in search of a cool geocache. This cache certainly was cool.

The FJ Dawgmobile too us to Phelen, CA to a workshop on desert critters. The talk was very educational and Dr. Glassey kept us entertained with his sense of humor. On our way home, we started to take the Angel's Crest highway home but it was a bit exposed so we went back and checked out the wild animals in the visitors' center instead. Then we got some coffee at a local coffee shop down the road and enjoyed the music...until the regular group took a break and let some people who thought they could sing take over the mic. It literally hurt our ears so we had to leave!

The FJ Dawgmobile took us on a really cool sunset drive last night at the southern end of Joshua Tree National Park. Today we were going to drive all the way north on this road, but we decided it probably wasn't a great idea today because we were not properly prepared and it was a bit on the warm side out there today. We'll come back with more water and supplies next time and give it a go. Better safe than dead!
