Here is an update on this coin. Shortly after we placed it in Abbey-normal we got an email from a friend of the geocoin owner that it was trying to get to Canada, and we had moved it the wrong way. We felt bad, so a few weeks later we stopped by Abbey-normal again to grab it, but we found that it was no longer there.

Sometime later at another cache, we ran into lizzard66 (who also go by Raiders of the Lost Cache) at a different cache, and I don't remember why it came up, but they told us that they had found the geocoin in Abbey-normal and had moved it to Woldumar Cache (GC2A8B). Apparently, they did not log the move on the site, but their found log on the Woldumar cache does say that they, "left the whales geocoin."

So, we have been meaning to stop by and check to see if the coin was in Woldumar Cache, and we finally had a chance to stop by today. Unfortunately, the geocoin was not in the cache.

We hope that the coin shows back up somewhere. Sorry about the bad news.
