This Geocoin was designed and purchased by the pupils of Pencalenick School to mark the schools Diamond Jubilee. (1952-2012)
We hope you enjoy looking at and logging our coin, as we are very much looking forward to reading you comments and watching our coin (hopefully) travel the globe!

This is a massive country. The cache is located near the Caspian Sea. The next nearest cache is almost 1,500km away. This earth cache has been placed in hopes that there are some cachers who are also in the oil industry. The country is very flat and almost desert like( see the earth cache for some details) In winter it gets so cold that very little outside work can be carried out.

Thiws cache took a few good hours to get to. at one point it took an hour to drive 5 km.Not a cache one would try without at least 3 vehicles. The Liwa desert is part of the empty Quarter in the UAE. It is also where they have the UAE desert challenge every year ( around 3 April)

The sand here is a redish colour due to the iron oxide in it. Stunningviews in the early morning and late afternoon. Very very hot in summer
