Dice are the oldest gaming gear known to man. Some say they are as old as 6000 BC

In early times the toss of a set of dice was not just act of luck, the result was thought to be controlled by the gods. Dice was a way of divvying out inheritances, choosing rulers and as a way of forecasting the future. The Roman goddess, Fortuna known to gamblers as Lady Luck, was understood to decide the result of a throw.
