Current Goal

This is our first ever Travel Bug. We have brought it over to America from our home in Sheffield, England on our second trip to Florida. As a family we would love to see more of this amazing country, but until time & money allow us to do that we thought it would be nice to allow Union Jack to do the travelling for us!
 
So Jack’s aim is to travel all around the USA and collect photos along the way. Ultimately we would like him to visit all of the individual states (including Alaska & Hawaii) & DC too… wonder how long that will take?
 
Please help Jack on his travels & log some photos of you with Jack & his new surroundings.

(As you will see by reading the logs below, the original TB went missing not long after its release in Florida. This is a replacement TB released in Mexico as we haven't been back to the US since)

Just a quick update - nearly halfway there! Many thanks to all the cachers that have helped move Jack around the country, many logging photos along the way. As of the beginning of  February 2022 Jack has visited (along with detours to Mexico, Bahamas & Canada) Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Maryland, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nevada, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Wyoming

    This will be re-released within the next few weeks somewhere in the Playa del Carmen area of Mexico.
    If you have picked this up before I have had chance to log where we have dropped it, log it any way... Doesn't matter if it's slightly out of sequence.
    As for a new mission??? We would be delighted if you could help Union Jack with it's original goal of touring around the USA (there are plenty of American tourists in this area to give it a lift over the border!), but we'd be equally happy for it to see some more of Mexico too (or even fly way up north to see Canada?)
    Whatever you decide to do with Union Jack... please post some photos & thanks for keeping it moving !

    Well, this one never resurfaced. It's a real shame this was stolen, as it was our first ever trackable. Pity we didn't heed the warnings of fellow cachers about desirable TBs going missing in America.😢
    Our plan is to create a new 'physical' Union Jack & set it off on it's travels & just hope this one doesn't get pinched!
