Current Goal

Robin would like to travel North Yorkshire and the North East of England until the end of 2006. From January 2007, he would like to travel all over Europe.

About This Item

England GeoCoin - Robin


This GeoCoin has been specially released for the benefit of GeoCachers in the Europe, especially the North East of England. We understand that these coins are often perceived as collectable, but please do not keep it as it spoils it for other cachers.

The rules of the game are up to the individual, but we feel swapping tracking numbers by email to get the logo isn't really part of caching, so we'd prefer it if you'd only log our coins if you've actually seen them in person.

The name reflects the Royal oak featured on the coin and Robin Hood who is supposed to be buried under an oak tree after his death at Kirklees Priory.

🙂 This was a very nice find and a complete surprise. We were exploring a nice section of Hadrian's Wall and checked the GPSr to see if any caches were near by and lo, Cragg Lough popped up. Will move on soon. TFTCoin, Bud and Nettie.
