Dolly the Beagle is Beaglenut's dog and caching buddy. You'll find us together caching the foothills of California gold country. Dolly doesn't much care for urban caching.
Dolly was born on 9/16/1998, and met Beaglenut in Scott's Valley, California. It was love at first sight. Dolly came complete with a busted tail, a really nasty tick bite on her head and a substantial gash on one of her front legs. Needless to say, the deal was done before we even went to the house to see the lady who was selling her. The funny thing was, the lady kept knocking off $50.00 at a time off Dolly's price. Little did she know that the deal was already done! I think I got out of there with a half priced dog! On the way home, Dolly slept in my lap while I was driving. The first things she did when she got home was mark her "turf" on the living room floor, and run into a sliding glass door. She's been my best friend ever since.
Dolly's the best friend anybody could ever hope for, and has been beside me through my darkest days and the brightest as well. She truly is "daddy's girl." She'll be 13 this year, and is still as rowdy as a puppy.
She always was and always will be my best friend ever!
