Please keep this coin traveling around Maine...do not keep, sell, or trade this coin.
Please do not remove this coin from the state.

The coin has been found, and adopted. The Team now has to release it into the wilds. Please place the coin in kid friendly caches, when possible. This way it can find it's way into the hands of our next generation, geocachers.

About This Item

Team2Hunt's Lost World Travel Geocoin

This coin is part of Cache Maine's Lost Geocoin Series. A new coin is released into the wild about once every week in search of a Maine cacher. These coins were selected because they reminded us of a particular cacher, or caching team. We truly appreciate their dedication to the sport and commitment to making this hobby a fun one for everyone. This series is also an effort to get geocoins back where they belong: in caches and traveling from place to place.

Thanks, Cache Maine. The adoption was successful. Now the coin wants to be set free and travel. The Team will see how far that can be. 😁

Congratulations to Team2Hunt on finding their Lost World Travel Coin. They now have a decision to make! They can keep the coin or if they choose to let it go again in the wild, I'll let them adopt this listing. Keep watching to see what happens!

Submitted adoption request, April 16, 2006.

Grab It (Not from a Cache) 4/16/2006 Team2hunt grabbed it   Visit Log

With the help of GeoMaine, and the Easter Bunny.😉 The Team has the coin. We were sent on an Easter egg hunt to find our Lost World Coin. This meant receiving an early morning email with secret coords and even encrypted codes and hints. With the help of my navigator, we travelled across The town of Falmouth, twice. To arrive at the until now undisclosed area. The hunt began. My navigator quickly found it. This was a good Easter. Thanks Cameoooo, and GeoMaine. 😁😁

I happened across “Team2Hunt's” namesake Lost World Travel Geocoin and since they live about five minutes down the street from me, I’ll see if they are ready to receive it. If not, I’ll be happy to re-cache it. Very cool coin!

Placed Team2Hunt's Lost World Travel Geocoin in the cache in Lewiston. Hopefully this will get it closer to them.
