Annie MG Schmidt is a Dutch writer for childeren. She have given a lot of beautiful books, like "Jip and Janneke" and "Pluk van de Petteflet". Our daughters of five years old love to hear the stories of her creations. They both attend the preschool named after her.
Her books inspired, and still inspire, lots of parents to read for their children, to stimulate the development of language from the youngest years. If you don't know her novels yet, please take the time to get to read a toddler or preschooler.
