This is cache # 2 on my list for today and it's another of Julieplay"d"Piano's caches which I always greatly enjoy. This one took me all over the old parts and points of interest of Old Roseville. This whole area I am very familiar with since I have lived here nearly 30 years now, but the final spot I have driven by a million times and never even noticed the two palm trees. Made the grab and now our adventures continue. 🦝

Today I am on day 66 of my longest geocaching streak and decided to run out and grab a couple of Letterbox caches. This cache is the first on my list and isn't too far from my home so it made a good starting point. As an added bonus is that this is one of Julieplay"d"piano's caches which always include some fun history along with a caching adventure. The instructions and clues led me directly to the cache which was safe and sound and in good condition. While I was here, I spotted ducks, a squirrel, several finches, a robin and a lizard. Afterwards I took some time admire the scenery and snapped a few photos. Now we are off to our next adventure. 🦝

Out grabbing lunch in the Folsom area and of course we had to see if there was a cache nearby. We spotted one on the back side of the shopping center and made our way to GZ. The coords were dead on and we had it in hand within a minute or two. We did a little CITO and also replaced uselessly soaked log while we were at it. With that done, our adventures continue. 🦝

Keeping my streak alive! With this cache I am now on day 65. My original goal was to hit at least 60 days, so now I'm just seeing how far I can go before I either can't get one in or I just get burned out. That said, I arrived at GZ easily enough and since it was about 6pm there really wasn't anyone around. My God bounced around a little under the tree canopy. I looked over here and then over there and then back over here...after a few more minutes......BINGO! There it was, but retrieval took a few more minutes and some creative thinking. With a long branch to help knock the cache from it's perch 10 feet up in the tree I finally had the cache in hand. Putting it back was an even bigger challenge since the branch I used broke. Thankfully I managed to find another branch and stuck it back up where it belongs. I always appreciate a little challenge and break up the monotony of LPCs. With the cache back in place, our adventures continue. 🦝

Heading home and needed to grab my COTD. Last night when I was planning my route home, this is the cache I plotted to get. I was able to pull up to GZ and pretty much parked within reach. The cache was right where expected and in good order. With this find I am keeping my now 64 day streak alive for another day. Our adventures continue.🦝

On my way home from work and I planned this cache out as my COTD. I pulled up to GZ easily with parking just feet away and found the cache almost immediately. The coords are dead on perfect, the cache is in great order and blends in well. I found the log most impressive because it's a good 5 or 6 sheets dating all the way back to 2014. I give this cache a respectful salute as one veteran to another. I wish this cache many more happy years. For now our journey continues. 🦝

On my way home from work and trying to keep my streak alive. I believe that today is day 62 and this is my longest streak ever. I got off the freeway band made my way over to GZ and pulled right up in front of the cache location. Nothing too complicated, just a quick grab and I can get back on my way. Our adventure continues. 🦝

Out caching with LIL2DVS & Dirk2DVS. Looking for some non-premium caches that these guys can claim and this one was relatively close. Made our way to GZ and started our search. The neighbor's dog was doing a great job of letting us know that he was there. After a few minutes, we were able to have the cache in had. Our adventures continue. 🦝

This seems to be a week of avenging DNFs. I was in the area with LIL2DVS & Dirk2DVS and noticed that the CO had replaced this one. We came out and picked up where we left off last time and found it right where we were looking last time. Added another Letterbox Hybrid to my stats. Thanks to CO for replacing the cache.
