...na diese Coin hat ja mal Geschichte - und diese Geschichte erzähle ich hier gerne! Ich konnte sie glücklicherweise aus einer kleinen Sammlung übernehmen! Der gesamte Hintergrund folgt nun:

Am 03.03.2011 war Jeremy Irish - Gründer und Präsident von Groundspeak - auf der CeBIT Global Conferences geladen, um zwischen 12:30 und 13:00 Uhr über die Entwicklung des Geocaching in den vergangenen 10 Jahren zu referieren. An diesem Tag wurde ein 5-Stationen-Multi auf dem Gelände gepublisht, nämlich "GC2NM0T Tour de CGC". Die ersten 10 Finder dieses Multis sollten als Belohnung eine dieser Coins bekommen. WHAKA hat zusammen mit safri den FTF bei diesem Cache gemacht - und sich eben zur Belohnung diese Coin geholt! Er hat zu der Zeit auf der CeBIT gearbeitet und den FTF in einer Pause absolviert. Im Anschluss an den Vortrag hat er sich die Coin direkt von Jeremy signieren lassen! Der Cache ist nach nur 59 Funden archiviert und die Coin wandert nun in meine Sammlung - und dort natürlich direkt in die Vitrine der besonderen Stücke!! Ich halte diese Coin in Ehren und freue mich riesig darüber!

On March 3rd, 2011 Jeremy Irish - founder and president of Groundspeak - was invited to CeBIT Global Conferences to give a lecture between 12:30 and 13:00 on the development of geocaching over the past 10 years. On this day a 5-station multi was published on the site, namely "GC2NM0T Tour de CGC". The first 10 finders of this multi should receive one of these coins as a reward. WHAKA was the FTF at this Cache together with safri - and got this coin as a reward! At that time he was working at CeBIT and used a workbreak to make the FTF. After the lecture, he had the coin signed directly by Jeremy! The Cache is archived after only 59 finds and the coin is now being added to my collection - and there, of course, directly into the showcase for the special pieces!! I hold onto this coin in honor and I am really happy about it!
