After spending the winter in a frozen hole in the ground, Santa now wishes to get to some place warm. His travel agent has suggested the following:
1) The Kalajoki dunes
2) The Canary Islands
3) Any place other than a frozen hole in the ground
Being several hundred years old, Santa's memory is not the brightest. This is why he has a high regard for photos of his travels.
Update 23rd April, 2004:
Santa got to his workshop in time and christmas was saved. This is all behind us now and Santa is beginning to feel the warmth of the coming summer. Having been in quite a predicament at Juhannuskallio and finally starting to feel his feet, Santa now wishes to get to some place warm.
Autumn 2003:
Santa has been laying low for a while in exceptionally warm southern Finland. Christmas is coming in a few months so Santa has to get back to work. He is trying to get to his workshops to check on his little helpers, but has misplaced his flying reindeer carriage and has to rely on geocachers as a hitchhiker.
Santa does not mind getting sidetracked on his journey and hopes to gather lots of photos!

Found him att the end of the Rope. We came upon him last week at Ten Birds but thought that someone else may be better able to help him along on his journey. Call it fait or something else, but finding him again just 7 days latter, we needed to pick him up.

Santa was in a nice warm hidey hole, with a great view of Nanaimo Harbour. While he said he enjoyed watching the BC ferries coming and going, he asked for a re-locate. So, make it so!
