I’m sure this scarab beetle would like to revisit Egypt at some point on its travels. Otherwise, let him ‘beetle’ around different caches
Found in the ancient tombs of Cairo… Scarabaeus sacer (often referred to as the sacred scarab), enjoyed a sacred status among the ancient Egyptians. This ornate representation of the sacred scarab, embedded with gems, was found in the tomb of King Tutankhamen. Engraved with hieroglyphs, this unique artefact is very beautiful. If you want to, you could try to try to translate the hieroglyphs.
