My husband deployed to Afghanistan in Sept 2011 and came home Sept 2012. He is part of the 290th Engineer Division of the Ohio National Guard and his job was to help rebuild roads and buildings while he was there. We are proud of the work he did there. We are glad to have him home safe and sound.
Even though he is home, I would still like for this star to make its way to Afghanistan. But along the way, I would really like to learn more about Afghani and Muslim traditions and culture. Pictures and comments on this would be great. Even pictures of different mosques near where you live/travel would be good, if you can.
