To remain in a time capsule buried in the garage at the Micronesia-Guam Service Center in Barrigada, Guam.
This coin is a Guam Geocoin that is being placed in a time capsule for the Micronesia-Guam Service Center of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The time capsule was placed on the same day as the Open House and Dedication of the Service Center on September 8, 2012. The Service Center is a Lockwood building made of New Zealand pine and is very unique to our area. We are currently building meetinghouses in our area using the Lockwood system. Bill Davis (Blygoat) is the Service Center Manager and the employees include Susan Alik, Tyler Ashcraft, Alberto Del Valle, Liz Gittens, Bedrikdrik Henry, Lota Hidalgo, Agustine Jimenez, Line Jimenez, Freddie Nicerio, Robert Quintanilla, Grace Vaiau, and Dale West, When the time capsule was placed, we were part of the Asia-North Area and Elder Michael T. Ringwood, Area President, Takashi Wada, Director of Temporal Affairs, Adam Aalders, Physical Facilities, and Darwin Halvorson, Welfare were on hand to help us celebrate. Hopefully, Geocaching will still be around when this time capsule is reopened in the distant future!
