This travel bug wants to collect buttons, and to stay in the Southwestern United States: Colorado, Utah, New Mexico, Arizona or nearby. 

About This Item

Button Bug Swarm

The original TB was released in 2003 and traveled around collecting buttons until it went missing in Colorado in 2005 after traveling 5,627 miles. I'm re-starting it in 2020 using the "copy" tag and with some new buttons. Please add another button of your own, and then place the TB in a geocache so it can travel as much as possible.

Please take a picture of the current swarm to post with your log, if you can. The owner is curious about its changing appearance. It's worth having a look at the gallery for this trackable so you can see what buttons people have added to it, in version 1.0 and 2.0

NOTICE: Do NOT log this item unless you have actually seen and handled it in person. If you are not personally moving it around, do not log it. Logging this travel bug when you have only “discovered” it online is not allowed. Such logs will be deleted by the owner.

Took bug from Stalkur, and last of ladybugs is mine!! Put on a "to know me is to love me" button with my info on the back. Emailed TB owner to see about returning the TB now that it's mission is complete!

This is my first TB. I plan on taking it for a small trip within the week. My kids were very excited when we found it. I originally thought it was simply a button collection based on the cache name where I found it until my son asked what the dogtag was. You'll see it back in the wild soon!

What a great travel bug. We added a Lizard Toad and a UTAG button but then realized it alread had a UTAG button. So we will look around for a different button. We'll put up a picture shortly.
