I was found washed up on a beach in the Seychelles. This of course means that there is a domino family somewhere out there that is unfortunately missing a sibling, and now rendered useless for any meaningful games.
Help me travel far and wide. Hopefully I can encourage my hosts to investigate the many challenging games that I can offer.
Dominoes are believed to have originated in the East. Each domino is said to represent a possible result of the throwing of a pair of dice. More history can be found at Wikipedia.org
There is always fun for small children using them as building blocks, and the simple join-the-dots games are great for developing minds. However, much like a pack of cards, there are many more challenging options available.
Nowadays it is fairly easy to find a set of Double-6 dominoes. For larger groups of players, double-9, double-12, and even higher sets are available.
On the internet, you will surely be able to find a suitable game that is fun for the whole family, both young and old. Some suggestions are given below:
www.domino-games.com
www.dominorules.com
many other sites can be found using common search engines. ENJOY !!
