About This Item

I represent a steelhead and I'm starting my journey at Big Lagoon in Humboldt County, California. Big Lagoon is a fun fishery with special regulations. Most people catch wild steelhead (must be released) and cutthroat trout. The trout can come and go from the ocean one to three times per year when the sand barrier beach breaches during high water and winter storms. The breach is almost always at the north end. Fish spawn in the inlet creek. Nearly all fish caught in Big Lagoon are native fish. Now I would like to travel and see other fishing spots. Gone Fishing.
