Mr. Incredible??? Geotokens

These tokens were a signature item for Martin, from Franklin, GA, and were placed inside the caches that he found for a little while. They are no longer being produced or distributed, but there are quite a few of them out there. You are welcome to do as you like with them: keep, trade, or just log and leave in the cache, if you're not interested in collecting. In January, 2005, I awoke one morning to find that my back was out. I mean really out. I couldn't get up. I couldn't do anything. I was all alone in the house, and it took me exactly 22 minutes to get to my feet, and find out that I couldn't walk either. That morning began, possibly the toughest 3 weeks of my life thus far. Obviously, it was even longer than that before I could go out geocaching! This experience was not only a tough one physically, but mentally as well. After I had weathered the worst of the storm, I was talking to a friend, and expressed it this way: "Superman just discovered kryptonite!"

Well, when I saw the short movie that previewed the movie The Incredibles, I just couldn't help but laugh at this "super hero" that couldn't get his belt on, over his big fat belly!

Let's face it, we all thought we were bullet proof when we were younger. As the years roll by, life has a way of letting us know that we are not, and that kryptonite is REAL, even if Superman ISN'T!!!

Just in case some of you don't really believe that I am Mr. Incredible... I am including a couple of shots of me in my VW Jetta!
