To burn rubber to Pheromone Cache at N37.44.100 W121.09.902 near Modesto California following the rules outlined for the 1st Annual Cannonball Run Travel Bug Race. It's a genuine race, help us out by dropping us in high traffic caches.
Burt & Dom's careers have stagnated so they return to the cannonball run circuit as travel bugs to pursue lost glory. They are always good for a laugh and appreciate paparazzi photos of them with their current transportation sponsor. The race starts March 8th 2003 at Byrncliff Resort in Varysburg, NY. Unlike cannonball runs of yesteryear, rules abound.
Travel Bugs are allowed to travel only one state at a time and the states must share a common border.
Bugs must be physically placed in a cache in each state visited.
There's some other rubbish that shouldn't affect our benefactors so have at it. Add us to your watch list and participate in the fun. Got Geocache buddies in other states? Encourage them to join the shenanigans. Should you come across another racer, please drop them off in a cache only accessible by dogsled or boat and scuba gear.
