My hope for those in service that come across this coin, is that they will be reminded of how much we appreciate what they do on behalf of our country … and each time I see a log entry for this coin, I will pray for the safety of the person logging it and his/her buddies.

I’ve released this geo-coin as a thank you and a salute to all those that serve the U.S. in the armed forces.

In fact after activating this coin, I’m sending it to “ea6bflyr” … a geocacher and member of U.S. Navy. Rob will be taking the coin to Iraq, when he leaves to serve there.

Just wanted to confirm UNDER Vito' report. "Hero's Cache" was muggled, a replacement container's now emplaced. This TB should be marked missing...

I am sorry to report that your geocoin has become a casualty of war in Iraq ... it was not in cache "Hero's Cache" when I visited today. I hope it is just a POW and shows up soon - good luck! Please report as missing.

This coin was not in the Hero's Cache as of 12 August 2007. N00b cachers have visited the cache recently. They may have not logged the coin when they took it.
