To travel far and wide to spread the message about how serious Texans are about their beautiful state. Also would love to be part of any CITO events, and to have photos posted to the log!
"Don't Mess With Texas" is the slogan for Texas' anti-litter campaign, which has been an incredible success. According to the campaign, it is credited with reducing litter on Texas highways by 72%. There are also a series of commercials with many famous Texan musicians and celebrities that I've personally enjoyed for many years.
So, if you plan on coming down to our wonderful state and decide to litter, just be warned: You might find yourself part of a wonderous CITO event planned just for you and others who dare toss their trash anywhere but a trash can!
