This is Blinky Bill, the koala. Though not really an ordinary travel bug, he is an Aussie Track-a-Bear (TB). Blinky Bill is a rather mischievous little fella, his character being famous among Australian children. The story began as a book by Dorothy, though was known to children of the 1980s/early 1990s as a puppet on television and later in the 1990s, a cartoon.
Although mischievous, hopefully he won't become a problem bear to you. Of course, he isn't really a bear either, as koalas are scientifically classed as marsupials and have no relation to bears.
He was released at the WWFM VI - Australien trifft Deutschland event.
