To roam freely and to hear stories of those loved ones effected by cancer............ The most important thing that cancer CAN'T do is take our memories of our loved ones.
This coin is dedicated to three people, two of which I know personally..... My Granny died of three types of cancer. One of those being breast cancer. She was one of those rough and gruff grandmas but she was a wonderful woman who I have memories of spending summers with. Cathy G. is my mother in law. She had breast cancer and it is remission! Go Cathy! Mother in laws are usually someone you hear complaints about but you are not going to hear any here. All of my in laws rule! Margaret B. is my grandmother in law. I never met her but have heard wonderful stories about her (including her love of baseball and the Texas Rangers--oh man would we have had fun together). She also died of cancer. Some day I will get to meet her.
UPDATE (08/29/2010) - this geocoin was picked up by a NEW cacher only having found 2 (TWO!!!!!) geocaches. This cacher then stopped geocaching. This geocoin has been missing now for almost one year. I have sent email after email..........after email..........after email. This is why geocachers go crazy............so I have decided instead of just letting the memory of this geocoin dying, I would rather release a fake. If the real one starts to recirculate, I will kill the fake.
