Silver, 2001 Jeep Cherokee Sport 4X4. Vehicle of choice for carrying Geocaching supplies and recovery equipment. This TB replaces TB1D0HB, the previous tag on this Jeep. That tag was lost when a Volkswagon Jetta collided with the back of the GAV. After the replacement of the back hatch and the left rear quarter panel, the GAV was on the road again. Alas, the Jetta is no longer with us. Luckily all the safety equipment worked and the Jetta's driver walked away none the worse for wear.
Geocaching in Space celebrates the spirit of exploration shared by all geocachers. In early November 2013, the geocaching community hosted over 1,100 events in more than 30 countries to commemorate a Geocaching Travel Bug's journey to the International Space Station. Astronaut Rick Mastracchio will use the Travel Bug to teach students back on Earth about geography and science. This Travel Bug was at an event held on 6/7 November 2013 that celebrated Geocaching in Space.
