About This Item

elster

Mrs. Elster was one of the most popular and well-known characters of the children channel in the former GDR. Since 1957 she was on TV usually once a week in the evening program for the kids. Here home is the fairy tale forest, where her best friend, Mr. Fuchs, lives next door. Their constant quarrels reminded of an old married couple and was the typical for the two. With more than 1300 episodes from the fairy tale forest this series was one of the longest in television history. If you are lucky, you can watch them at Saturday still today on german TV channel MDR or RBB. By now Mrs. Elster has retired and can finally make, what she ever wanted, to travel through the world. And we watch her way, which began on the castle Kuckuckstein in July 2009.
