Current Goal

Thanks for picking up Gerald.
Gerald's mission is to visit (by which we mean visit a cache in) every county in the UK and Northern Ireland. You can do this in one of two ways:

1. Drop him off in a cache in that county for another cacher to pick up.
2. If you're currently in possession of Gerald and you visit a cache in a county he's not been to yet, we'd appreciate it if you could "dip" him (log that you've dropped him off and immediately grab him back again), even though you've not actually dropped him off - I hope that makes sense!

If you're not able to drop Gerald off in a county he's not been to yet, can we ask that you drop him off in another cache soon so that he can carry out his mission.
In any case, can you drop him off in "high traffic" caches that are visited often so that somebody else can find him not long after you dropped him off. Thanks!

    We dropped Gerald in Nicks Place today but it looks as though he was grabbed before we had time to get home and log him in.

    We will email the people who grabbed him and ask them to dip him in Nicks Place to give him his mileage.
