Domo!!! As a Musashi "Water" geocoin, he dreams of having an exciting trip from cache to cache, cacher to cacher, all over Earth, just as in the quote "Step by step, walk the thousand-mile road", and eventually make his way to JAPAN, either Westward or Eastward. After reaching Japan, he would like to make another exciting journey back and return to his owner in CAMBRIDGE, MA. Let him be part of your Cachin' Dreams! PICTUREs with him are very much welcomed!!!
Desert Vols Musashi "Water" Geocoin #37/50.
The coin is 1.75” in diameter, with a white enamel front, black enamel symbol, and shiny/matte SILVER with black enamel in the rear.
This coin is a tribute to Miyamoto Musashi, the Sword Saint, who wrote "Go Rin No Sho" (The Book of Five Rings) in 1645. There are five parts to the book: Ground, Water, Fire, Wind, and Void. The front of the coin bears the Japanese Kanji symbol for “Water”, and has an inner dark blue border to symbolize deep water. The rear bears a quote from the Water Book: “Step by step, walk the thousand-mile road”. The quote is followed by Musashi’s signature.
