There is but one goal for this item: to be discovered at event caches, or elsewhere, amongst old and new friends.
Our 1,000 cache was an event cache (GC1JPZF: 'Twas The Week Before Christmas...) hosted by Dale n Barb on 12/21/2008.
We obtained our nametags at the event, along with a 1,000th cache commemorative geocoin and pin set, as a reminder of the camaraderie of the occasion and of all the friends we have made while geocaching.
