Current Goal

North to Alaska! Help us move this coin to Alaska to hopefully be picked up by the owner in 2011 on our 30th wedding anniversary!

About This Item

We celebrated our 25th wedding aniversary with an 18 day trip to Alaska and we hope to return in 2011 to celebrate our 30th. It would be so cool to find this travel bug on our return trip! The keychain was a gift from a elderly and spunky friend of ours: Bertha Coffman. We loved salmon fishing at Soldotna, Halibut fishing at Deep Creek, the beauty of Homer, watching bear at Valdez and Denali National Park! We hope this bug gets to see some sights we missed while we were there and have some fun on it's way there.

Please move it along quickly. Happy caching!

I really was just planning to discover this one. But with no extra paper and perched up here, it was easier just to slip it into my pocket and descend with it. I moved it "Half way up Cedar Butte" (GC12NWF) on a 1000' gain hike just a bit north close to the Rattlesnake Ridge area.

Came up for an overnighter at Mason Lake for a training hike for next month when our Boy Scout Troop -(594 of Maple Valley) goes down to Philmont in New Mexico for some high adventure rock climbing along with a 65 mile trek.
Nice Eagle key chain... Both of my boys are Eagles, Scouts that is.
Thanks, RunsWithGoldens
