The objective of the American Farmer Series Travel Bugs is to document through photography and word, the American Farmers heritage. By traveling to farms (working and abandon) around the country, we can all help the legacy of this dying breed to live on.
These four (now five and final) Travel Bugs are dedicated to my grandfather (who passed October 15, 2012). He was one of the hardest working men that I know. He is the one who taught me how to work, and gave me the opportunity to work and learn on his farm. He taught me to love animals, care for and respect the land. Between his unwavering example and a John Deere 830 we were able to raise arabian horses, plant and maintain many fields of alfalfa, all while teaching me how to put in a honest days work.
Please take pictures and upload them as these bugs travel around the country. Released: December 19, 2008.
