"UK" was the former logo of the company I am working for. UK stood for "Union Kraftstoff", a small oil refinery and chemical plant located between Cologne and Bonn on the Rhine River in western Germany. Our company is now belonging to Royal Dutch Shell plc, headquarters both in the Netherlands and in England.
"UK" war das frühere Logo der Firma, für die ich arbeite. UK stand für "Union Kraftstoff", eine kleinere Rohölraffinerie und chemischer Betrieb, gelegen zwischen Köln und Bonn am Rhein. Unsere Gesellschaft gehört nun der "Royal Dutch Shell", deren Firmenhauptquartiere sich in den Niederlanden und in England befinden.
