Golden Galadriel would like to journey through the interesting places of Earth. She would like to collect pictures of her travels to share with her kindred spirits in the elven world.
Galadriel (‘Lady of the Light’) was queen and founder of Lorien (also known as Lothlorien) in Middle Earth. She was keeper of one of the three Elven Rings of power (Nenya), which kept both her and Lothlorien safe when Sauron’s power grew. She refused the offer of the One Ring (the Lord of the Rings) from Frodo Baggins when he rested at Lothlorien during his quest to destroy the One Ring.
Galadriel was very tall and beautiful with long golden hair. She was married to Celeborn, Prince of Doriath, and had one daughter, Celebrian (who later married Elrond, founder of Rivendell). Galadriel eventually left Lothlorien to join the Last Riding of the Keepers of the Rings.
