Foxcritter decided to let the boy find this micro cache. He seems to be enjoying them more and more as he is appreciating the thrill of the finding. It was too small for me to fit, but I watched her sign the log and saw the boy putting it back ever so carefully.

Foxcritter and kits went caching after a morning of working at the nearby park. It was fun to see the group of cub scouts caching... some of them for the first time. It was a good find. The boy got to work the gps until we got really close to the coordinates. He still made the find with the help of a couple of other boys. It was hidden in a bird's nest in the tree. A neat find for the boys.

Foxcritter and the boy went seeking this cache. It was easy to find as the path was well tromped down. It was buggy so we didn't stay long.

I spent the weekend camping with Foxcritter near the Albright Cache. We decided to hit a few of our own on the way home. This one was a pleasant, short walk through the woods. A few mosquitoes, but not too bad.

Foxcritter and the family were enjoying a evening with ice cream and the boy wished to hunt this cache. We did not have the waypoints in the gps yet, but she told him to go look around and see what he found. She was absolutely amazed when he actually found it without the coordinates or gps. While I was in the car and missed the whole thing, I heard the story and will get a chance to visit again I'm sure.

This was a neat cache. Foxcritter and I scoped it out before calling the others from the car. We did a little circle in the woods to find the best way to get to the coordinates, but it all worked out. We came across some big cement grooves going down a hill. We wondered what they were and asked at the visitor center. The ladies there didn't know either, but did say the place used to have a toboggan run.
