My name is Hissy from Central PA. I want to go to Roswell at the place were the aliens crashed, then to the Grand Canyon. The reason I want to go there is to learn about aliens and the Grand Canyon. Can you take me part of the way? I am doing this for a fifth grade Special Interest class and we will be plotting it on a map. Please take pictures/add an interesting fact on the website. Thank you!
From,
Hissy
I was born in a cave in the Grand Canyon when the aliens landed in Roswell New Mexico. I was in the state and panicked Then my family was caught by an evil man with a net. I spent my childhood in a cage in a pet store, until I was bought and flown to another pet store, called Petsmart. Then, I was bought by a nice family who let me out of my cage a lot. One day I asked them if I could go to the place where the aliens crashed, so I could see what happend on my birthday. Then to take me to my birthplace in the Grand Canyon, so I could see where I was born. They said yes, and put me in a cache so my adventures would begin. Please take care of me.

Hi again class, its me Hissy. Here are some facts about California that you may not have learned yet. I am very near Death Valley California. If someone asked where the lowest point in the Western Hemisphere is or the Highest Point in North America not counting Alaska is? You could answer, why its California. The lowest point is in Death Valley National Park, called Bad Water, its -282 feet below sea level. The highest point is 76 miles west of Bad Water still in California at 14,505 feet above sea level. Its called Mount Whitney. I bet you alrady knew the Capital of California is Sacramento. You could check out Death Valley National Park and Mt. Whitney on-line. I went there with Gandks and it is very neat area. OK I am moving again this time back toward Arizona and New Mexico.

Hi guys, I'll bet it seems like its taking forever to get to Roswell, New Mexico, and the Grand Canyon in Arizona. In fact I am probably less than 200 miles from the Grand Canyon. I was let out in the Mohave Desert just to look around and get some fresh rodents. I am still on the road with Gandks, he is going to see some friends in New Mex. before the end of Dec. and they live about 100 miles from Roswell, then he is going back to the Grand Canyon Area. I have some facts about California that I will have posted later today or this week with some Pics. Hang in there I am still safe, keeping up on my health, and am being treated much better than I was in my temporary home when I was younger. I'm learning as much as I hope you guys are. Thanks and I'll keep in touch.

Here I am in Nevada, I went very near area 51 in my travels, and seen the ExtraTerrestrial Highway NV#375. If I was watched I did not know it. Now I am very near Las Vegas, Nevada, actually at Overton Nevada right by Lake Mead National Recreation Area. I got my pic taken with a very rarely seen turtle. It was a Desert Turtle and here are some FACTS! the Desert Turtle can live to 80 years with some known to be 100. They spend 95% of their life underground in burrows they dig from 3 to 6 feet deep. They can hold about a quart of water in their bladder and re-use it when needed. Some adults can go for a year and more without water. They get moisture from plants in the spring. They are a threatened species living in the Sonoran and Mohave deserts usually at 3500 feet and lower. My handlers saw one and quietly got some pics and moved slowely away because if they are alarmed they can empty their bladder out of fear. I can tell you this turtle was treated with all the respect a critter like this needs. Am soon arriving in Arizona then will stop at Roswell N.M. and back to AZ. Will keep telling stories of my travel until released into the wild by "Gandks"

Hissy is on his way to Arizona and New Mexico with a brief stop in Nevada. Did you know that it is a fact that Nevada is the most mountainous state in the Nation? It has 314 individual ranges and hills and the state capital is Carson City.

Just so happens my caretakers were going there for the winter. It may be late October before you hear from me again.
