Geo-pup will turn 18 in August. He has accompanied tandemstoker on many grand adventures: a hike to the top of Sugarloaf Mountain, a 5 part kayak multi in Bar Harbor, Stud Mill Road by bicycle and the University of Eustis Masters and Doctorate of Geocaching degrees.

Due to the prohibition of four legged cachers at Housatonic Meadows he spent the weekend at doggy sleepaway camp and managed to get his front leg wedged through the spaces in his crate and required emergency surgery on Sunday morning.

Usually quite happy to pose with travel bugs today the pain medication made him a little less interested to be photogenic. Posting a photo, perhaps within a few days we'll be able to obtain a better one.

Found this cool dog on the Eastern Trail that is very dog friendly. We had been walking the trail from Biddeford and we found this after a good 5 hours of walking and caching and we met our first people who just happened to have a dog and we explained about geocaching and what a TB is for, gave them one of BenDen5's cards and they will be checking out the geocaching website. We also gave them a positive review for the Delorme Earthmate PN-60 because they wanted to get a gps soon. We will be dropping off Little Shep on another dog friendly trail in the near future.
