Current Goal

We would love to see this travel bug make it across the USA to California and back again! We will attach a small log for anyone who would like send us a note. Update 9/20/08: We would love to be able to retrieve our Travel Bug and put him away at home. We live in Canandaigua, NY so anyone who can get it back to somewhere near this area, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you to all of you who helped Mac take such a long journey of the USA!

About This Item

Mac in his "younger years"

This travel bug is named for a long time friend of our family who was put to rest on July 6, 2005 :(. We attached a tennis ball to the travel bug since playing catch was one of his favorite games! We will forever miss Mac and hope his journey in heaven is a happy one.

Grabbed In Memory of Mac and will keep him here with our dogs until I fly back to Virginia in March. Since he's been in California awhile I thought it was time to go back home to the east coast. I will be in Williamsburg and hopefully someone can give him a ride to New York. Note: we had to put our black lab, Blackie to sleep last year after 15 years of friendship. One of the hardest things I've done and it still makes me sad. We'll never forget him...

Found this little guy while out playing frisbee golf with my dog. There is no longer a log attached, but it is labled that it wants to go to California. It's here!!!! I can make another lable if you want it to go back home. Let me know it's destination in a few days, or I'll just release it to wander.

After allowing the Mac TB some very gentle play with my sister's two hounds, set out for a day of caching. Hoped to drop in Go Fetch! (the container was a tennis ball!), but size-wise it wouldn't work. Decided to make the drop in Number 2 Tee, a cache located on a frisbee golf course in Mooney Grove Park in Visalia, California. I think that Mac would have loved all the kids and the frisbee activity! Thanks for letting me pass along Mac's Memory!!

Headed to the San Joaquin Valley for a Thanksgiving visit. Since my sister has two dogs and my niece one--an active mini-weenie dog named Tinki, I thought that Mac's tennis ball TB might enjoy some four-legged companionship for the holidays!
