Travel Bug wants to ride the rails. Gone are the days when Rusty hauls maintenance gangs to and fro to repair the track.
This diesel engine wants to see the world for himself. Rusty the Travel Bug requests you take him for rides on the world’s railways --- Great and small. He wants ride the Mount Snowden Rack & Pinion; Blaenau Ffestiniog Railway; The Canadian Rocky Mountains; The Australian Ghan; Melbourne’s Puffing Billy; Bergen Railway and the Eurostar.

NEW GOAL FROM NOVEMBER 2011
Rusty has spent six years travelling around the world, and has seen railways in many many countries.
He would really like to now come home to New Zealand, far far from great the lands he has been passing through for the past few years.
Rusty would like to continue to visit railways, but from now travel south, across the many oceans and get the Hamilton City in his home country, and then be re-united with his owners.
After a rest he will be liberated again for some more travels.
Rusty is a miniature diesel engine, painted bright orange. When his adventures are complete send him back To Hamilton, New Zealand so his little engine can rest.
